T-Mobile planning to introduce home devices with Google OS

t-mobile_google-logoT-Mobile is already running Google’s pre-popular Android OS in one of its handsets, and now the company is also considering using the same in an array of communication devices for home in the coming days.

A confidential document, which has been received from a partner of the company, says that T-Mobile is planning to introduce a home phone as well as a tablet computer next year and they both will run on Google’s Android software.

The device to be plugged into a docking station while data synchronization will be handled with another device as the battery of the phone is recharged.

BlackBerry Javelin/Curve 8900: T-Mobile will be the first to release in UK

Well, this time T-Mobile has beaten its rivals Carphone Warehouse and O2, by announcing that the company will be the first to bring the BlackBerry Curve 8900 (also known as Javelin) in the UK.

Carphone Warehouse and O2 were expected to launch the phone in UK on Dec.20, but T-Mobile is bringing the phone a week earlier.

To get your BlackBerry Curve 8900 for free, all you need to do is just signing up a £35 contract, and it will provide users unlimited email send and receive as well as web browsing.

‘There is little hope to put Silverlight on iPhone,’ Microsoft confirms

Microsoft says that it will monitor the success of Android if it considers adjusting Silverlight for the mobile operating system; however, it also says that there is little hope of putting Silverlight on the iPhone.

Microsoft’s Scott Guthrie says in this connection that Apple is contrarily ready to facilitate plug-ins such as Flash and Silverlight.

“We are keen to be able to run Silverlight on the iPhone, but still whatever software is run on the iPhone is ultimately controlled by Apple.” Guthrie says.
