Many were expecting that Palm would appear at CTIA 2009 scene with its Palm, but the company surprised everyone with an unprecedented move and uncovered its new smartphone the Post that based on ultra-secret WebOS.
It was in January when the Pre first began to tease the mobile world and since then people have been anxiously waiting for the device.
But this sudden revelation of the post stunned almost all the big players of the cell phone industry.
In a press release Palm says:
“A considerable amount of time, resources and energy have been given to develop the new flagship device dubbed as the Palm Post. We don’t want to rush over much awaited Palm Pre in the market, as we consider this act quite beneficial for our as well as our customers’ interests.”
“The move will definitely enable our valuable customers to get the best quality mobile device that has ever been introduced.”
