It makes the search faster by providing a drop-down list of the related items of the keyword you are typing and if any of the related drop-down list items matches your need then just click on that. After clicking it will appear on the text area of your search box then by clicking search button you are provided with the exact results of what you need.
The other advantage of this kind of plug-in is that it gets related search items drop-won list not only from the web but also from your own browser previous history. This makes the search faster by, if you have already searched for the related time, providing you a drop-down list with the previous search history. This drop-down list of related item is available to you after typing the first keyword and in some cases after typing the first letter.
The drop-down list generated from the browser history contains more useful information if you have searched the same keyword earlier. This contains information like the number of times you have searched the same keyword, how long ago you searched the same keyword, and for how many times you have visited the same link. All the information is generated by the inquisitor from the browser.
This inquisitor provides various features to the browser to enhance the search and they are,
- Instant search, which helps in getting the result by the time you are typing the keyword
- Easy access to many features through the keyboard shortcuts
- Search suggestions of search engines could be changed as per your wish
- Also keywords, and the number of results suggestions in the browser history could be modified.
Beyond all these search features the new Safari browser comes with an update Coverflow. This is new to Safari browser which enables you to search through the web history in an easy and fast manner. This Coverflow’s feature is nothing but it displays images of each search page and allows you to scroll through left or right to move to the next page. This feature is available in apple’s iPhone/iPod from many years back.
All these features make the search better and faster in Safari browser than in any other browser.
