The pictures have appeared on BerryReview and according to some they are quite genuine without an iota of doubt. They showed a HTC handset working on the system with the BlackBerry Application Suite that was due in 07.

The BAS is an impressive and somewhat a fictional idea for brining the Blackberry OS on Windows Mobile for devices on Windows Mobile 6.

This would provide much better solution than you might have seen with BlackBerry Connect for getting your email on other device. With BlackBerry Application Suite you can also connect your handset with an isolated APN and get good support for real-time connections.

But some cons are there as well because your exact position can’t be pinpointed with the BB Maps software.

Still there is some hope if you are willing to lump with a Windows Mobile on BlackBerry.

The N96 that has been competing with phones like Sony Ericsson’s XI, Samsung Omina, BlackBerry Storm and Apple’s iPhone 3G and it has also been serving as the Finns key flagship model, but now the N97 handset takes it over.

But the N97 will still take six months to be available in the market and it would definitely need to offer something special as the rival companies are also leaving no stone unturned to take something from the Finns’ lion share.

Nokia Device unit vice president, Jonas Geust says in this connection: “With this N97, there would be a new beginning of a new N-series.”

This Nokia N97 handset will be available in July next year with the price tag of £467.

As far as specs are concerned, it will be there with QWERTY slider, 32GB storage, 36hrs battery life, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and 3.5in touchscreen.

When it’s about camera, it will be a lot better than the iPhone 5MP camera and it will be there with DVD quality video capturing and Carl Zeiss lens.

According to Nokia’s claim, it will be something like the latest mobile computer.

There are also rumours about an astounding public launch on Friday in which Formula one world champion Lewis Hamilton will take part. So we can expect even bigger queues than that we have seen at the launch of the T-Mobile G1.

The BlackBerry Storm is the first full touchscreen device from the Canadian company and it uses a new type of touch technology to make it feel like a real keypad. It will be exclusively on Vodafone.

Have you fed up by finding Blackberry Pearl 8110 review every now and then? Here is some good news as CrackBerry succeeds to have a “quite early” peek of the device 8220 version that pursues typical naming convention of RIM’s that packs WiFi contrarily the 8210 to hold the GPS sort of things and the overall outlook also suggests that a lot of homework has been done by R&D team to form quick impressions.

The phone is not excessively large but its SureType keyboard is quite large and somewhat easy to use but the trackball seems resting deeper and that’s what makes it somewhat trickier to operate. QVGA display isn’t bold enough in quality and with 3.5mm headphone jack it’s often difficult to bicker with.

It’s really been announced, it’s a 3G and dropping within the traditional BlackBerry are those three reasons that make the Bold to steal a majority of RIM’s spotlight now. Though it’s still lurking in the shadows, RIM’s first flip phone is the KickStart. And we can say about this device it may make a huge splash if the launch is managed to the sub-$50 price spot. And that’s what rounding on the rumor circuit.

BlackBerry Bold…The date of BlackBerry Bold release was suggested as 25th July as there were reports about Corey’s tip. And now according to the new and somewhat differing information, Rogers will shoot a press release that announces the Bold’s availability and bold-up opening for its dealers. And in the following week expectedly on 29th July customers will have access to it. Many people still hoping to get their hands on a working BlackBerry before July 25th but it is only coming time that will unfold it.

BlackBerry KickStart… There is no word about BlackBerry KickStart availability date but Rogers is talking about mid/late September.

BlackBerry Javelin… The Christmas and the BlackBerry Javelin will come together this year as it is expected to be available till end of November or during early December. It seems that Javelin may prove a substitute to the BlackBerry Curve as Rogers is looking to keep Bold as well as the Javelin confirm.

First, it is the best available gadget (It may sound harsh to Blackberry fans) I have ever used, secondly, its features are so tempting that you can’t stop using them if start just the once. Internet browsing, email, weather forecast, maps, stocks, news and many other don’t allow you to divert from your iPhone.

But mind it the gadgets require energy to perform all these tasks and battery is the thing that to make energy available to execute all of them. We can’t say the iPhone’s battery is not up to the mark (As many people reckon it a drawback that battery begins to show lower level of charge towards the end of the day) but the fact is that the iPhone is overused that’s why the battery has to show lower charge level or it runs out. It is same as, if you have 10 dollars, they would never end except you spend them. The same is true about iPhone’s battery: the more you use, the earlier it ends.

But lower charge levels or complete run out is always painful and irritating issue that makes you feel hampered and disconnected from your surrounding world. You get null and out of juice especially while traveling or in an airport. The best solution lies to have an additional battery to avoid these tribulations.

To offer you best alternative for such situations Richard Solo (The Sharper Image fame Richard Thalhemier’s new site where he offers different gadgets) presents the Battery Backup for iPhone and iPod. A 1200mAH lithium-ion that takes 3.5hrs to be charged fully through USB, it weighs around 2.76 ounces with 1.77’’x 2.83”x 0.49” measures and the price is around $49.95.

The battery is proficient to work with iPhone as well made for iPod.The battery and iPhone can be charged at similar time and phone can also be used when the battery is connected to it. Apart from shuffle the battery works with all iPods. There is a three color LED light system that indicates about the remaining charge in the battery.

The battery is small yet very powerful, perhaps, the most powerful available in this size. You can easily slip it in your pocket, wallet and briefcase. There many other batteries available in the market but most of them are disposable, large in size or with lots of cables .Sometimes these ordinary batteries can also damage your iPhone.

(RIM) is planning to release a touch-screen model of the wireless e-mail gadget during the 3rd Q. The report further explains that new BlackBerry will be an answer to Apple Inc’s iPhone.

The Journal reported on its Website that the device would be sold entirely through Verizon Wireless in the U.S. and through Vodafone PLC in abroad .The device has been named as the Thunder.

On the other hand, RIM refused to comment on the report and stated that it didn’t say anything about rumors and assumptions. During this week some supposed details of a new touch-screen BlackBerry were also showed on the Internet.

During February this year, RIM’s co-CEO Jim Balsillie announced that if customers desired, the company would bring out a touch-screen.

In the past, Balsillie has rejected the possibilities that the iPhone could become a serious competitor for the BlackBerry. Launching a touch-screen Blackberry would put RIM in a direct competition with Apple’s well-known iPhone.

On Thursday, RIM‘s shares closed C$ 140.99 which is C$ 1.60 higher in Toronto Stock Exchange. Similarly, on the NASDAQ, they closed at $140.71 with a gain of $2.15.

Will this new BlackBerry be a success or Apple’s coming iPhone rules the world? Only time will tell.

Mobile editions of SAP’s business software

According to the announcement of RIMM and SAP on Friday that they are together to make build up mobile editions of SAP’s business software functions that will run on the BlackBerry stand.

CRM application

CRM application will be the first of these Sap’s revelation and it will be joined with e-mail, address book, calendar applications of the Blackberry. According to SAP CRM application will be easily available during the next few months .Saps will reveal it at its Sapphire user meeting in Orlando, Fla., during the next week.

Sense of boredom in the announcement

It is worth mentioning here that access to SAP’s CRM via Blackberry was available even from 2004 as the companies had announced that with the unclear references about long term plans to make different SAP apps for the Blackberry even in 2004.Thats why a sense of boredom is there in that announcement too.

A little bit freshness as well

Still there is some freshness in the announcement as it demonstrates raised level of dedication to offer mobile entrée to SAP from BlackBerrys. And it is also points to many other examples of deeper incorporation among the technologies of the companies.

Integration of technologies

According to SAP this is the need of time and requirement of that partnership to develop and stick to new applications and to work with more dedication and courage as their past was quite glorious regarding integration of technologies.
Our plan is that to design these apps in such a way as the Blackberry users may be able to use them when no other networking exposure is reachable. These applications will be very similar to email service of RIM on the Blackberry.

Access business data

Another question rises in that connection is about the connivance and comfort of the business that will make it their priority to access business data through wireless networks and cell phones.

To make its user-friendly option even friendlier, Pearl product line has been just updated by RIM with some more developments and enhancements. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a more efficient camera make this new 8120 from AT&T a gorgeous and attractive upgrade.

This exceptional addition of Wi-Fi will give a chance to its consumers to jump at faster network in a twinkling of an eye and get access of their desired site. But at the same time, be short of Wi-Fi will destroy any pleasure over the device’s Internet browsing capacities.

There is no 3G (EV-DO) support in 8120 as it is available in other BlackBerry units. At the same time, the 8120 also doesn’t have enough GPS tracking capacities, so it is almost impossible to use it immediately with Google Maps. Such updating by RIM is beyond our understanding. No doubt, addition of Wi-Fi and upgrading of camera to 2.0 megapixel are praiseworthy updates but why didn’t they include other helpful features?

Truly speaking, GPS has far more importance than a good camera particularly for users like business persons.
The camera presents 5x digital zoom and a range of photo-taking means to delight any camera phone user. Besides this, videos can also be recoded in it which is pretty exciting. No doubt, still picture excellence has been raised at a great level and live video quality is also exceptional.

So there is not enough feature improvement but still the new Pearl is smart lookiing charming device.Dark blue and chrome color scheme is quite eyecatching and impressive.Being a slimline candybar handset it is comfortable to hold and with a metal-like finish it looks lovely in the hand. Its weigth is 91g,107mm tall ,50mm wide and 14mm thick.

BlackBerry menu and back keys are to the left and right of the trackball and are also call and end keys to left and right. The arrangement is same as in the original Pearl and it works efficiently. Two‘convenience keys’ are also there ne on the right edge and the other on the left and these can be configured to launch any application or device feature one wants to have.

Regarding using 8120 as a mobile email device, there is another important thing to mention and it is that the screen is a little on the small side. The screen is 38mm wide and 43mm tall bright and clears enough to read incoming emails but it is not up to the task for a complex attachment like spreadsheet

A music playback is also there to complement that 3.5mm headset jack but the sad thing is that there are hardware control buttons and one needs to go into music application to have access over it and it makes thing quite uneasy.

In short, design-wise its an okay device but feature-wise there is still enough capacity to improve and its users want to have this improvement in Pearl 8120
