Now you can make an email account right from your Nokia handset, as the company has announced the launch of another nice email account feature named Ovi.

Now the beta version of this new PC free email account service is available for public use and it will allow Nokia users to make their new -mail account without even touching their computers and just with their Nokia handsets.

According the Finns’ claims, this new service is able to sidestep a computer totally, and still it manages to bring the similar functions as you can see most of email systems.

Ovi has been featured for nearly 10 languages and nearly 105m people will be able to make the most of it.

Nokia’s senior executive, Tom Furlong says in this connection: “The new service will help to develop a mindset shift in mobile emailing.  This is the first service of its kind that will help users to make their email account direct from their mobile phones.”

“The service helps users to create a direct email account instead of developing it from their PCs and then use it on their handsets that we can see in many well-known and most advanced handsets of nowadays.”

“The service will allow users to directly use their handsets for creating e-mail accounts from their handsets and they deserve this tool as digital natives of cell phones.”

The PC maker is feeling somewhat superior after it’s over £100m profit for Q3 financial results.

During the last three months, Acer has sold more than two million nebooks worldwide and its Aspire is the best seller among the range. The company is looking forward to grow further.

These nice results have prompted the company to predict that it will sell 50% more netbooks next year that would make the sale of around 15 million units.

Acer President, JT Wang says that the company’s netbook shipments are likely to increase by up to 35 percent to meet the demand.

On Tuesday, Intel posted its 2nd quarter figures that showed a 25 percent increase in profit and record sales in the quarter.  Strong sale of processors for laptop computers is being considered a basic factor behind the hefty profit figures.
The results were contrary to analysts’ expectations and they assured Wall Street that Intel is bravely facing the lifeless domestic economy with its broad international access, healthy product array and manufacturing lead over smaller rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc. which decreases Intel’s cost of manufacturing chips.

“There are strong demands for Intel’s chips in all segments and all around the world” said Paul Otellini, Intel’s Chief Executive Officer.

After-hours trading, there was a 23 cents increase in Intel shares as it closed at $20.94. They had already increased 24 cents or to $20.71 even before Intel reported its figures.

According to Intel, in the three-month period that ended June 28, its net income was $1.6 billion (28 cents/share).
It was almost 3 cents per share higher than the expectations of survey conducted by Thomson Financial analysts.  It was almost 25 percent higher than the Intel’s previous year’s figures.

This increase in profits is being considered the result of increasing demand for laptops and their processors all around the world.

Intel has also switched to the latest manufacturing process that decreases the cost of making these chips.
Microprocessors, which are considered the electronic brains PC’s, Intel is a top supplier of them all around the world. It rules over microprocessor market with its 80 percent share, while on the other hand AMD owns hardly 20 percent of market share.
