This move also allows the verified applications to get a lot more exposure in the app directory, as they are provided in the featured section that is available at the top of other given applications in every category.

However, Facebook’s search is one segment where these verified apps don’t seem to have the same importance and where users can pick to see only those verified apps that are given in each category. If you are going to search for an application, your search will not help you to find out whether this application is verified or not.

According to intel’s William Leszinske Jr., “The CE3100 Media Processor provides a highly integrated solution that offers flexible, but powerful technology foundation that will definitely provide a new life to HD capabilities of Flash,”

“We have joint forces with Adobe so that we may be able to accelerate a complete, but relevant experience of the Internet on TV it will offer access to users for an increasing number of Flash-based applications that can be enjoyed on various screens including laptop ,MID and now on the TV.”

Microsoft’s Scott Guthrie says in this connection that Apple is contrarily ready to facilitate plug-ins such as Flash and Silverlight.

“We are keen to be able to run Silverlight on the iPhone, but still whatever software is run on the iPhone is ultimately controlled by Apple.” Guthrie says.

“Now, whatever they have said is that they are considering enabling browser plug-ins such as Flash or Silverlight to run on the phone.”

So far specs are concerned, they both are somewhat similar in specs and have a wealth of applications.

Though the N96 is big and wide, it feels nice in the hand with its decent built and solid chassis. On the other hand, iPhone 3G is smarter and wider than the N96.

It feels nice with aluminum back. In short, (without beating about the bush) iPhone 3G design is better than the N96.

Both these phones don’t allow you to feel media deprived as they both are full of powerful media features. But the iPhone is on the edge with media power of its cousin iPod. So far internet is concerned; it’s always a strong point of iPhone that is loaded with power of safari browser to make mobile Internet experience nice. No doubt, the Nokia N96 also has a great web browser, but mobile surfing with mouse is absolutely crucial as it doesn’t have a touchscreen.

Battery life of both these phones are almost the same as they both have to be recharged after a day’s moderate –to-heavy use. The 3G coverage of the Nokia N96 is the point that makes it a better phone than the Apple’s iPhone. The poor 3G coverage of Apple’s iPhone is an open secret.
