It has been expected that Google Android will grow 900% in the next year. According to an assumption by the Strategy Analytics, The Google Android mobile OS will see a drastic growth in its business.

This record, if achieved will beat the record of Apple’s iPhone OS as being the fastest-growing smartphones across the globe.

According to the “Global Smartphone Vendor Market Share by Region: 2008”, published on the May 11, the iPhone OS will become the second-fastest growing smartphone OS in the year 2008 in the United States of America.

And RIM’s BlackBerry OS will become the second-largest overall smartphone OS. The encouragement by the vendors, operators, and developers will lead to this shocking growth of the Google Android.

The report says that the Google Android’s mobile operating system is steadily spreading its presence into the markets of Asia and Europe during the year 2009. It also credits the company’s comparatively low-costing licensing model, support for cloud services, and semi open-source software along with manufacture support from Motorola, HTC, Samsung, Vodafone, T-Mobile and others as well.

The Strategy Analytics director Neil Mawston said that the Google Android is maintaining a good position to achieve the place of a top-tier player in the smartphones in next few years. Moreover, the RIM’s BlackBerry OS has pulled ahead of the Microsoft Windows Mobile to achieve the position of the second largest smartphone OS in the year 2008. Thus, this year is going to be a great achievement for the Google Android.
