Researchers develop new hydrogen storage system for autos

issam-mudawarA new hydrogen storage system for autos has just been developed by researchers that will make fill up some car’s fuel tank with hydrogen enough to cover 300 miles only in five minutes.

One of the biggest hurdles in developing functional and practical electric cars is to store hydrogen in a quick and safe way.

To absorb the capricious hydrogen gas in metal hydride power at higher pressure is considered safe, but a large quantity of heat produces because of this process.

Researchers predict massive increase in VOD by 2015

tv_iconAccording to results of a new study, a considerable change in the viewing habits of UK viewers is expected in the coming days. The researchers are predicting that the people who are watching traditional TV these days will prefer to video on demands.

This survey from Coda Research Consultancy on behavioral and market research project offered somewhat expected results but the figures which have been predicted definitely need to be repeated.

According to Coda Video on Demand services will swarm up to four fold via PCs as well as on-demand TV services, while there will be 15% decline in the live TV viewing.

Mobile Phones Becoming Smarter With Carbon Naontubes

carbon-naontubesResearchers at the University of Cincinnati have discovered that spinning carbon nanotubes; CNTs into longer fibers helps making them into excellent nanotech antennas.

The institute has widely been acknowledged for ‘nantennas’ through the world record breaking carbon nanotubes.

The said nanotubes antenna has been developed by David Mast, an Associate Professor of physics. He made these antennas by taking 25 micron carbon nanotube threads and formed a dipole antenna using double sided transparent tape and silver paste.

He performed the experiment on his own mobile set by replacing the built in antenna with his own created. The result was remarkable giving four to five bars of service which were absent without the nanotube antenna.
