The Scottish National Party is backing up suggestions that Lossiemouth in Moray should become Britain’s first space port.

Virgin Galactic has already confirmed that they are seriously considering three launch sites in Britain which includes the Lossiemouth in Moray, Machrihanish in Argyll and a lone airbase in the south-western England. With these major spots, the competition is believed to be heating up.

On the other hand, the SNP is eager that it be a Scottish destination that achieves the reputation of becoming the earliest spaceport.
