Microsoft says that it will monitor the success of Android if it considers adjusting Silverlight for the mobile operating system; however, it also says that there is little hope of putting Silverlight on the iPhone.
Microsoft’s Scott Guthrie says in this connection that Apple is contrarily ready to facilitate plug-ins such as Flash and Silverlight.
“We are keen to be able to run Silverlight on the iPhone, but still whatever software is run on the iPhone is ultimately controlled by Apple.” Guthrie says.
