With QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen and 32GB storage, Nokia has just unveiled the Nokia N97: the new flagship model.

The N96 that has been competing with phones like Sony Ericsson’s XI, Samsung Omina, BlackBerry Storm and Apple’s iPhone 3G and it has also been serving as the Finns key flagship model, but now the N97 handset takes it over.

But the N97 will still take six months to be available in the market and it would definitely need to offer something special as the rival companies are also leaving no stone unturned to take something from the Finns’ lion share.

Nokia Device unit vice president, Jonas Geust says in this connection: “With this N97, there would be a new beginning of a new N-series.”

This Nokia N97 handset will be available in July next year with the price tag of £467.

As far as specs are concerned, it will be there with QWERTY slider, 32GB storage, 36hrs battery life, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and 3.5in touchscreen.

When it’s about camera, it will be a lot better than the iPhone 5MP camera and it will be there with DVD quality video capturing and Carl Zeiss lens.

According to Nokia’s claim, it will be something like the latest mobile computer.

Now the company allows you to look quite cool and impress the ladies in cocktail dresses with a car control function to your handset.

With the help of this somewhat impressive functionality, you can open the boot, lock the car and turn on the lights inside as well as out.

Things don’t end here, as you can also enjoy this SE added functionality to adjust the seat without even sitting in it, but it may you look stupid to get you phone out to adjust the seat.

The music functionality is impressive and dedicated and offer real pleasure to those music lovers who can’t sleep without listening music. It is, without any doubt, bombastic so far quality of the sound is concerned.

It is available on many networks for free on a contract; you will have to pay around £90 as you go or for SIM-free or unlocked about £130.
