Siemens smart chopper has come up with a brilliant idea which is an amazing concept. They have decided to give their new innovation in terms of technology- the smart chopper to a charitable organization. A lot of organizations are competing in the round of all round votes and they are upholding a variety of causes. So it primarily depends on what kind of cause you support because your vote will decide who gets this chopper. Voting has started on December 14th and will continue all the way to next year April so there is an extremely long time for you to decide which organization you want to vote for.

There are some very prestigious organizations on the long list of organizations that are in waiting and some of them are Keep America Beautiful and Earth Day Network so needless to say the whole concept is pretty innovative. Also very importantly the competition is sure to be tough and quite difficult and will not be easy at all because there are so many charity funds who have worked hard to deserve the opportunity to own this custom electronic motorcycle.

The entire concept of voting becomes extremely interesting and innovative and people easily have favorites as far as social causes are concerned. The Siemens smart chopper is extremely expensive and is estimated to be one of the best and most powerful technological inventions in an extremely long time. Needless to say quite a buzz has been created about this amazingly smart motorcycle that boasts of excellent features and plenty more. It becomes extremely advisable for people to first decide what they are voting for and win a charity accordingly. The whole concept is pretty amazing and the voting process will start off quite a unique competition that also has a lot to offer to charities.

A report says that experts believe that the Contact Lens TV will be available in the market in a decade’s time. The report was generated by The Future Laboratory.

The continuing development in miniature technology will lead to the development of Contact Lens TV screens allowing watching TV with shut eyes. These will be tiny TV screens which will be worn just like a contact lens.

Ian Pearson a Futurologist said, “It doesn’t matter to the lens whether your eyes are open or shut, You will just pop it in your eye in the morning and take it out at the end of the day”.

He also told about the appearance, “They will work just like normal contact lenses, they will be pain free and you will be able to see normally through them”.”The only hint that they are in your eye may be a slight tint”.

It is thought to be a revolutionary step as one will have no need to approach the sofa and reserve a place in front of the television set. He said, “So you could watch the news with your eyes shut as you wake up, or watch a video on the train.”

The lens is developed to work with a combination of lasers and micro mirrors. Its estimated cost is 400 pounds.
The report states that this invention will be revolutionary as it will bring ‘feel’ to the viewer by watching a movie so close.

This new smartophone has been named as the Acer DX900 and it first emerges at the website of a UK based retailer Clove Technology.

The device looks a lot like the E-Ten Glofiish DX900 and has similar designs, looks as well as features that you have seen in the E-Ten, the only different you may find is brand name.

Another similarity is about price as it is being offered with the same price tag of $570.

There are reports that Acer has been planning to introduce some high profile handsets at MWC in Barcelona. When it comes to specs, you would find the DX900 quite run of the mill sort of smartphone that is leaving room for something a lot more impressive that will be uncovered on Feb.16.

There were also some reports regarding sneaked photos of another smartphone from Acer that has swivel keyboard.

With its 4G Long Term Evolution technology, Motorola has stepped into a new age of fastest mobile broadband that the company has announced to bring to UK.

Currently, the service is passing through the testing phase in Swindon and it wouldn’t be available to the general public yet, however, this move indicates that process of making UK somewhat more mobile is on its way.

Many have been named LTE as the successor of 3G networking around the world, as many telecommunication companies are trying to tie together the recognition of wireless internet.

According to Joe Cozzolino, senior vice president of Motorola Home & Networks Mobility, “We are at the front in developing 4G technologies right now and this technology will definitely offer a great help to address the demands of those consumers who want to have personalised experiences of media as well as those operators who want to have some competitive advantage.”

It is being supposed that the LTE would offer 100Mbps of download speeds, but just like the present day 3G broadband over mobile, the farther the user will be from base unit, the slower its speeds would be.

LTE has to compete with WiMAX as the standard for next 4G. The different between these two standards is as, as in 3G and WiFi, but recently, HTC Max has launched a 4G phone that has been based on WiMAX.

The users need to install software on their PC that is organized through the server. The users often have to use PC headset to use the Ventrilo or Teamspeak, but they can also work nicely just with a microphone or speakers.

These technologies are being used in various popular games these days including Counterstrike, Everquest, America’s Army and World of Watchcraft.

Aside from these games, any other online game that allows gamers to make use of teamwork for the objectives of the game can also use this technology.

Apple OSX, Windows and many other unix-based operating systems can be used for client-side applications or voice utility.

VoipServers.net has been serving for quite long time to those who want matchless quality for Teamspeak Server hosting and Ventrilo Server hosting, as their Voip servers are exclusively hosted on different Tier1 networks like Internap and Natfire. These guys are, indeed, providing the best quality services in impressively lower rates.

You can test their free demo servers if you have some Voice Server with impressive quality and ease of use as all you need is just clicking on a location to get connected. No doubt, their Teamspeak Servers and Ventrilo Servers can serve your purpose best.

It was in August 03 when the first release of Ventrilo was let out and which become the cause of replacing the old Roger Wilco which was released in 1999. It’s a fact that Ventrilo couldn’t overtake the market fully, but during the recent some years it has been expanding its market share gradually. Primarily, it communicates over TCP and depends on active codecs’ levels.

On the other hand, it was in August 2003, when teamspeak was launched by Neils Werensteijin and Ralf Ludwig in Germany. Teamspeak2 is the current release of it and it uses UDP and a processor application to communicate its packets.

Windows 7 is coming after Vista that is a success according to Microsoft claims, but it was a subject of severe criticism from many users.

Some glimpses of the new system were offered at Microsoft’s Professional Developers Conference in Los Angels.

Microsoft senior vice-president Steven Sinofsky calls it an exciting new version of Windows and says that it will offer a more personalized experience.

There were many complaints that Vista ran slowly or failed to work at all with some programs and devices when it was launched in January 2007.

Mr Sinofsky admitted that they received a lot of feedback about Vista. Sinofsky runs the Windows business for Microsoft.

He added that his team had made a lot of improvements, as they had learnt some lessons in developing Windows 7.

Windows Touch is one of those new features that have been promised in the latest operating system. This new feature promises support for multi-touch technology.

Similarly, there is a new taskbar that provides quick access to files and programs, as every open window appears as a graphic thumbnail.

Texas Instrument has developed Pico projection technology that will help to pave a way for in-built projectors into different devices like mobile phones.

The said technology will not only be used in the phone world, but also in many other gadgets.

Texas Instruments’ Lars Yoder (VP for DLP Front Projection Products) and BenQ’s Business Development Director, Bo Cramer told in an interview that they both were excited about where projector technology was moving.

“At the moment, there are many emerging markets that looking for it and soon will find projectors in cell phones, laptops and digital cameras,” said TI’s Yoder.

“There are many possibilities that projectors will also be used in lobbies and hotels in Emergency Exit signs.”

Cramer is quite excited regarding variety of products that would use this projector technology, but he was more specific about BenQ products where this Pico projection technology will be seen.

Though BenQ is working for the development of devices that will use thus Pico projector technology, we may have to wait for many years to see the devices with such technology.

The new Robot is being hyped as an example of future ‘emotional machines’ and it would be deployed in hospitals to offer medical treatments to humans.

The Heart Robot has a beating heart that slows down when the machine is treated gently and rises when shaken. It also flutters eyes and responds to touch.

McGoran, a researcher in the Department of Robotics at the University of West England, told in an interview that he had his background in puppetry and dance and it was full of fun for him to work on this project.
The EPSRC has funded for the Heart Robot project that is working to bring people in the researches related to social and emotional robotics.

“Wall-E’s new robot is a good example of social and emotional robotics as it’s a nice expression robot,” McGoran states.
“Robots are usually considered cold, hard, steel machines but now we are trying to change this image trying to make them cute, cuddly and infant-like those respond to us just like pets.” McGoran adds

On Wednesday, an article, published in optical Society’s open-access journal, describes about the world’s first optical pacemaker. At Osaka University in Japan, a group of scientists reveal that small but very powerful optical pacemaker that it is very helpful to control the beating of different heart muscle cells.

According to lead researcher Nicholas Smith, “if a large amount of laser power is put over a short period of time through these cells, a huge response can be achieved.” Calcium ions within the cells are released by these laser pulses and this move compels the cells to contract, Smith further adds.

The new technique such a tool as can be very helpful to control hearth muscle cells in the laboratory and this breakthrough may also support scientists to know the mechanism of heart muscle contraction in a better way.

One possible use of this mechanism may be in studying awkward contraction of heart muscle. In normal condition the heart muscle shrinks in very rhythmic fashion and this let the heart to impel blood into different arranged blood vessels. However, in some people there is a breakdown in this coordinated beating and the heart begins to shudder unevenly. This sort of condition is also known as fibrillation.

This new technique may also prove very helpful to the scientists to develop a fibrillation in the test tube.
There can also be some drawbacks, of exposing heart muscle cells to these intense laser pulses, outside the laboratory. The laser pulses last for less than a trillionth of second but harmful results can increase overtime and this restricts the chances of clinical use.
