AMD introduced a budget gaming graphics card Radeon RX 6500XT for $199
AMD officially announced Radeon RX 6500XT, a new gaming graphics card for the budget segment, at the presentation before the CES 2022 exhibition.
Priced at $199, the graphics gas pedal will offer a 6nm Navi 24 chip with 1024 stream processors and 4GB GDDR6 memory at 18Gbps. In gaming mode, the graphics card will be able to overclock up to 2.6 GHz.
Radeon RX 6500XT has two-slot design with HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, at that only versions from vendors will be available for sale - there will be no reference version of this GPU. Its release in the U.S. is scheduled for January 19.
In addition, AMD has presented Radeon RX 6400 for OEM-manufacturers. This graphics card has trimmed down its hackathoristics and will be available only for sale as a part of ready-to-use systems. The novelty is equipped with Navi 24 graphics chip with 768 stream processors, 4 GB of GDDR6 memory at 16 Gbit/s and 64-bit memory bus, which will provide a maximum bandwidth of 128 GB/s.
