AMD prepares budget model Radeon RX 6300

AMD is probably preparing a new 3D gas pedal for desktops. We are talking about Radeon RX 6300 model, which has already appeared in the API GPU Performance database. According to a verified source, such model is indeed being prepared, but will be available only for large PC assemblers and system integrators.

Obviously, the main for Radeon RX 6300 will be Navi 24 GPU, this model will be the third one based on Navi 24, after Radeon RX 6500 XT and Radeon RX 6400. What's interesting, previously Radeon RX 6400 was also only intended for large PC builders, but now its appearance is expected in retail as well. So Radeon RX 6300 may well repeat the fate of the older model.

Radeon RX 6300 specifications are not available yet, but we can assume that the graphics card will get 2 GB of GDDR6 memory with 64-bit bus, 16 MB of Infinity Cache memory and about 512 stream processors (the Radeon RX 6400 has 768 stream processors). The price of such model could turn out to be around $150 or even lower, as the official price of much more powerful Radeon RX 6500 XT is $200.
