Filtrbox, which serves to monitor online brands and market intelligence, has reported that they have finished a $1.4m Series A funding round that was led by True Ventures and Flywheel Ventures last year. The website has also released a revamped version of its Filterbox G2 which is its main product.
With this website, users can monitor a large number of sources for content that include blogs, FriendFeed and Twitter.
User can get continuous updates, duplicates of periodic digests just after entering in the terms for which they would like to keep track of.
Aside from usual metrics like significance and about article publication, this will help to find the relevancy of some article after making an analysis of the given source.
It was in June 08, when its original version was launched and the basic functionality in this new released version is still the same, but many new improvements have been made in it. Those users who have premium accounts could monitor unlimited search queries in a one given time. Similarly, they will also be able to view queries results in the form of graphs.
The site will also offer a free basic version which will be available with less features and allow users to have not more than five real-time searches. BuzzGain is another player in the game that was released in January.
