Fractal Design introduced the Torrent Compact and Nano with good ventilation
Fractal Design announced Torrent Compact and Torrent Nano gaming cases. The new products are designed to provide efficient air cooling.
The products have a front section in the form of an open grid and wide air intakes in the base. The left and right side can be equipped with "blank" panels or transparent walls made of tempered glass. A removable top panel and Velcro clips make it easy to route cables.
The Fractal Design Torrent Compact is designed for E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX and SSI-CEB boards. There are seven slots for expansion cards with a length limit of 330 mm for graphics gas pedals. One 3.5/2.5" drive and three 2.5" drives can be installed. The height of the cooler for the processor can reach 174 mm, the length of the power supply - 210 mm. The device has dimensions of 450 × 222 × 467 mm.
The Fractal Design Torrent Nano version is compatible with Mini-ITX and Mini-DTX boards. Three expansion slots are available, with a maximum graphics card length of 335mm. Space is provided for one 3.5/2.5" storage device and two 2.5" drives. CPU cooler height and power supply length are limited to 165 mm and 200 mm respectively. Overall dimensions are 417 × 222 × 374 mm.
The older of the two cases is initially equipped with two 180 mm Dynamic GP-18 or Prisma AL-18 fans. The junior version is equipped with one such cooler. In the case of Prisma AL-18 a multicolor backlighting is implemented. The cases are available in white and black.
