Intel's top-of-the-line Arc Alchemist graphics card on DG2-512EU GPU was faster than GeForce RTX 3070 Ti in benchmark
In SiSoftware Sandra there is a top-of-the-line 3D gas pedal from Intel's Arc Alchemist line based on DG2-512EU graphics processor. We already wrote earlier that Intel saw this model as a competitor to Radeon RX 6700 XT and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070, but according to the benchmark test, the most powerful new generation Intel graphics card was faster than GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.
The test result of Intel 3D card is 9017 Mpix/s. For comparison, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti has 8369.51 Mpix/s, the Radeon RX 6700 XT has 7910.91 Mpix/s. But the Radeon RX 6800 with a result of 10607.29 Mpix/s is unattainable. Interestingly, the result of the base graphics card of the Alchemist line, Arc A380 on DG2-128EU GPU, is 2956.10 Mpix/s. That is, its performance is exactly three times less than that of its older sister.
According to SiSoftware Sandra, the configuration of Intel's top-of-the-line Arc Alchemist graphics card has 4096 stream processors running at up to 2.1 GHz, 4 MB of L2 cache memory and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. The memory bus is 256-bit.
According to the latest rumors, discrete Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs will be released by the end of this quarter, but they will be mobile versions. And discrete solutions will go on sale in the second quarter.
