Nintendo has recently announced a new Zelda title for the DSi, named Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. The revelation has been made at GDC; Game Developers Conference in San Francisco by Satoru Iwata, CEO Nintendo.
This revelation has come up when the gamers were expecting to see 3D gaming from Nintendo. In Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Link is shown riding on a train which is capable of shooting cannon balls.
The touch of the railroad in the game is thought as an amplification of the previous DS version’s boat system. In this latest version, the plus point is the ability to fire cannon balls to hit the enemies. Other featuring capabilities of the boat are told to be there too.
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is coming with touches of shades in graphics. Link has also got some more powers as to control his enemy looking like a Knight, in the dungeon scene making him more of a friend than a foe.
But more hard core details are still awaited. Nintendo has done the courtesy of providing the screenshots of the game letting us gather an idea about the new look of the game that reiterates the previous.
Retro game fans can enjoy a number of classic titles introduced by Virtual Console Arcade, which will be available for download pretty soon.
Those who are looking forward to Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks will have not to wait too long. It is planned to be available this year.
